Topplock är nyckeln till att kontrollera luftflödet in och ut ur cylindrarna och bränsleutsläppet. I en förbränningsmotor sitter cylinderhuvudet ovanför cylindrarna ovanpå cylinderblocket. Den stängs i toppen av cylindern och bildar förbränningskammaren. Cylinderhuvudet eller topplock håller även insprutare och ventiler – och innehåller fler rörliga delar än någon annan del av motorn. Även om det till stor del inte märks, spelar cylinderhuvudet en nyckelroll i din motor.
